Growing up in the Philippines have exposed me to all types of Asian foods. My grandmother and auntie used to cook traditional Filipino dishes, such as chicken adobo, and lumpia. Those dishes were etched in my memory to this day even though I left the Philippines over 30 years ago.
Now that I live in Valencia, some Asian or Filipino ingredients can be hard to get hold of. Thankfully, over the years, many more Asian food shops have popped up in Valencia, so it’s been easier for me to get certain ingredients.
In this post, I have compiled a list of online Asian food shops here in Spain, and some in Europe too. So if you are looking for a certain ingredient whether it’ll be Japanese, Indian or Filipino, I’m sure you will find it in one of the stores listed below.

1.Hiper Asia Supermercado
Located in Valencia, Hiper Asia is located beside Estacion del Nord. They stock a wide selection of Asian food, from frozen items, fresh produce and even a butcher shop. I get a lot of my Asian ingredients here and they are very reasonably priced. They deliver for FREE if you order is €60+.
2. Japon Shop
Japon shop is a quirky Japanese store in Castellon. They stock plenty of Japanese products from ingredients to sweets. Not only that they also have a Korean and American ‘corner’. Their website is colourful and easy to use. They offer 24-hour delivery and FREE delivery if your order is €60 or more.
3. Oriental Market
Oriental Market is a part of a franchise and has several stores across Spain. You will find a large selection of Asian products from more than 14 countries including Japan, China, Thailand, Singapore, Korea, Philippines, India and more! Not only they sell food products but they also offer a range of oriental kitchenware and home decoration. Delivery is free for over €65 worth of shopping.
4. Wenzhou Supermercados
Wenzhou was founded in Madrid back in 1998 and started as a small shop. Now they have a few stores across Madrid and offer online shopping. They have an extensive product list on their website, where you can almost get anything Asian food-related!

Amazing Oriental is a part of Yuen Tong Supermarkets in Spain. An Asian food import company that started back in 1995. They also have stores in Valencia and Barcelona. Their website is a little outdated, and using the store can be confusing. So I would advise getting in touch with them before placing an order.
7. JK Asian Foods
JK Asian foods began its humble beginnings in 1995 as a small store. Now they have become one of the largest Asian food distribution company in Barcelona. Providing services to the hospitality industry as well as private individuals.
8. Desi Gourmet
Based in Madrid, Desi Gourmet specialises in Indian food and spices, though their stores also sell a variety of international products. The prices are reasonable and if you order over €65 worth of items it will be delivered for FREE!
9. Filipinan Market
Owned by two friends, a Filipino and Spanish they provide both Spanish and Filipino products in their online store. Though they have a wide range of products, it would be nice if they have an equal amount of Filipino food and spices too. Nevertheless, the products look good and they deliver for FREE if you spend more than €39.

A Dutch company who specialises in Asian products online. They deliver all across Europe including Spain and the UK. They boast of over 2.500 of unique Asian products and only charges €19,95 for delivery to Spain and €12,95 for the U.K.

Final Thoughts
Ordering Asian ingredients online is convenient, but I still love going to my favourite Asian shop in Valencia. There’s something about the smell, and smooching around that makes me feel happy. However, the above list is handy if you cannot get hold of something, I’m sure you will find it in one of these shops.
