It’s worth knowing that Serawa comes across more like a boutique design hotel than a classic family resort, so you won’t find kids’ clubs or slides, and the atmosphere sounds better suited to families who appreciate calm over chaos. Certain rooms can feel warm, open‑plan bathroom layouts aren’t to everyone’s taste, and there are occasional comments about Wi‑Fi or staffing feeling a bit stretched in busy periods – so I’d say it’s one to consider if you have slightly older kids or you’re planning a more relaxed, base‑to‑explore style stay.
Hotel La Sort
Hotel La Sort is a great choice if you want to be right in the heart of Moraira, with the beach literally on your doorstep. It’s a small boutique hotel set directly opposite Playa de l’Ampolla, so you can roll out of bed and be on the sand in minutes, and you’re also a short stroll from the castle, marina, shops and restaurants – perfect if you’re travelling with kids and don’t fancy driving everywhere. The rooms are modern and bright, with lovely little comforts like Nespresso machines, Egyptian cotton sheets and cribs available on request, and their on‑site Sand Restaurant is well‑rated for Mediterranean food, so you’ve always got an easy dinner option downstairs.
At the same time, La Sort feels more like a chic beachside boutique than a big family resort, so you won’t find a kids’ club, slides or a huge pool complex – it’s better suited to families who like being out and about and then coming back to a comfy, stylish base. Because of its central, seafront location it can feel lively at times, especially in high season, and parking in the immediate area isn’t as effortless as staying slightly out of town, so it’s worth keeping that in mind if you’re travelling with very young children or lots of luggage.
Hotel Manet
Hotel Mañet (Manet) is a stones throw away from Playa del Portet. With sea‑view rooms, a pool overlooking the water and a terrace‑restaurant that gets a lot of praise for its breakfasts and Mediterranean dishes – the kind of place where you can start the day with good coffee, fresh fruit and eggs while watching the waves.
It’s still more of a small, charming beach hotel than a big all‑inclusive resort, so while the location and pool are fantastic, you won’t find a long list of kids’ facilities or entertainment, and the feel is more peaceful than “lively family complex.” Bear in mind that it’s 15–20 minute walk into the centre of Moraira, so it’s perfect if you love being by Portet and don’t mind the stroll (or a short drive) to the marina and main beaches, but it’s something to factor in if you have very little ones or lots of gear to carry.
