Now that the summer holidays are here, it’s time for the kids to take over and fill our days with excitement! Planning outings with multiple kids can be quite a challenge. Trust me, I’ve been there. There’s always some debate about what to do and where to go. That’s why I’ve put together a little list of places to visit, just in case you need a bit of inspiration.
Giffords Circus
First up, we have Giffords Circus. Who doesn’t love the circus, right? I remember going once and absolutely loving it, although I’ve never been a huge fan of the animal acts. What makes Giffords Circus extra special is its Victorian-style theme. Picture this: old-fashioned costumes, jaw-dropping stunts, and a magical atmosphere inside the big top. And guess what? They even have a restaurant serving up delicious three-course meals made from organic and local produce. Talk about the full circus experience!
Chatsworth Country Fair
Next on the list is the Chatsworth Country Fair. It’s a three-day event that’s all about celebrating the countryside. There’s something for everyone here, from cooking demonstrations to military vehicles, ferret races, and sheepdog trials. I’m sure both adults and kids will have a blast exploring all the fun activities!
Dinosaur Adventure
For all the dinosaur enthusiasts out there, Dinosaur Adventure is a must-visit. Set in a 100-acre woodland, this park is home to life-size dinosaur models and a whole array of activities. Take a stroll along the Neanderthal Walk, play a round of volcanic crazy golf, or let the kids loose in the adventure playground. And once they’ve had their fill of excitement, why not take a leisurely walk in the secret animal garden or say hello to some creepy crawlies?
Kids Week in London’s West End
Last but not least, we have Kids Week in London’s West End theatres. If you have a little actor or actress in the making, this is the perfect opportunity for them to shine. From August 15th to 29th, 2008, kids aged 5-16 can enjoy free tickets to top shows, workshops, and activities. With shows like Phantom of the Opera, Disney’s The Lion King, and Mama Mia on offer, it’s bound to be an unforgettable experience for the whole family!
