I remember my first camera, back in 1994, I was 17 years old just fresh into Art college. One of the things I owned was a Minolta 600si which served me a few years.  I’ve always loved taking photographs, but only for fun, I wouldn’t consider myself a professional though I would like to learn more about the subject.  The latest camera I have owned was the Panasonic Lumix FZ20 that little baby lasted me over 7 years and I loved it until it met it demise last year, it has lasted me for so long and have served me well.

But it’s time to move on, I wanted a new camera, but I wanted something with a bit more. I have a handful of friends who are photographers and if you discuss DSLR cameras with anybody, Nikon is nearly brought up along with the same sentence.  Unless you live under a rock you would know that Nikon is very well known for its great range and make of cameras, from professional photographers to noobies like me who blog and just want high-quality images for better presentation.

I love stumbling on to blogs rich with images, if you’re like me, I like to take my own photos, whether it would be a product review or just, in general, to insert on my blog posts for my readers to enjoy. It adds a lot more originality compared if you were just to pick up any images on Google.  Plus, I like to be creative in this way and living in the Mediterranean I cannot ask for a better place to take lots of photos!

Last Christmas my wish was granted; my husband got me a Nikon D3200 Camera. Yay! As you can imagine I was over the moon, finally my first DSLR camera! I have been trying it out, though have not really delved into the technical aspects as I want to read more and maybe get a couple of books such as From Snapshots to Great Shots and Guide to Digital SLR Photography for further learning. After all, I want to make the best of my camera and I see this as another creative learning opportunity for me.

So after a few weeks of trying this baby out, I want to write down just some first impressions and thoughts about it. I want to look at the D3200 and explain why it’s so appealing to entry-level beginners or even for those who just manage a blog like me and want a low-cost solution for including quality and professional looking images in their blog post. Ok, let’s take a look at the main features.

Nikon D3200
Nikon D3200

Main Features

  • It has a 24.2 MP DX-format CMOS sensor
  • Capable of recording Full HD 1080p movies with one touch
  • Live View shooting using the 3.0 inch LCD monitor
  • A very wide ISO sensitivity range

Pros:

  • It’s incredibly light in weight – in fact, lighter than normal lenses, this is great for carrying around a lot
  • Has a simple user-friendly interface with easy to access menu options which make it ideal for beginners.
  • Takes amazing photos with high resolution beyond  what]s is needed entry-level camera at this low-cost price

Cons:

  • As this is still a professional type of camera it will take some time in learning to set it up properly for all different types of situations (such as focus, light setting etc). It’s best to be patient and follow the manual carefully before rushing out and taking photos.

Verdict: Is The Nikon D3200 Worth Getting?

ir?t=contifairy 21&l=as2&o=2&a=B007VBGTX8This camera is great if you are looking for a more advanced and professional feature,  an ideal purchase for those who are wanting their first DSLR camera and for those who need it for online projects such as a blog or website.  The Nikon D3200 shoots 4 frames per second of full resolution images and this is far more than enough for most hobbyist photographers to capture sceneries, objects, children and pets, but maybe not so ideal for the more professional photographer who is more into action shots.

The Nikon D3200 is the cheapest high resolution you’ll find online or in any camera shop and I think the best DSLR camera for bloggers like me. Not only that but you get a camera that has a very good high-quality photo output which is probably more than needed it for beginners, however, you have a camera that you can grow with as your photography skills develop. So the Nikon D3200 is definitely going to be worth it as a first-time DSLR camera.

The Nikon D3200 Camera still allows me to the use exactly the right lenses along with me using the correct techniques, the end results are absolutely 100% perfect. A low light or high ISO performance is by far way past normal levels you would expect for any professional level quality camera.

I’m still going through thousands of photos and hundreds of videos from my Ph trip. And yes we’re missing it sooooo much! Just a reel of some of the fun times that was had! 104 0
🌸It’s finally springtime! 🌿 What better way to embrace the season than with a fun DIY project? After finding a glass container while doing my spring clean, I thought id make use of it by making my own terrarium.💡

🌱 Here’s why terrariums are fantastic:

🌱 They bring a slice of nature indoors
🌱Adds a unique touch of nature to your home
🌱Low maintenance.
🌱A relaxing and creative way to reuse jars or vases.

Want to know how to make it? Head over to the blog or click my bio. 300 0
